The rice noodle with beef and rare beef is simply amazing. The soup itself is light but flavourful, little to no MSG. They will provide you with chill sauce and garlic vinegar. Please try to add some in your spoon with some noddle and beef and little soup, you will be amazed.

Ha Noi Xua is an absolute gem for authentic Vietnamese cuisine. The dishes were extremely flavorful, beautifully balanced, and presented with a creative flair that elevated the experience. Having traveled to Vietnam several times, I can confidently say this restaurant is the real deal and captures the true essence of Vietnamese food. It easily surpasses the majority of Vietnamese restaurants in the United States in both quality and authenticity. We also had the pleasure of meeting the wonderful family who runs the restaurant—they were warm, attentive, professional, and made sure every detail of our visit was perfect. Ha Noi Xua - Where the Broth is Deep and the Love is Real
If you’ve ever dreamt of a place where the ingredients are so fresh they practically introduce themselves, then let me point you to Ha Noi Xua - a tucked-away gem on Av. João Crisóstomo, lovingly recommended by Jo’s friends Maddy and Kelly (who clearly know their way around a good noodle).
Jo knows me well. I’ve got a soft spot the size of the Mekong Delta for authentic Vietnamese home cooking, and this place delivers with heart, soul, and a side of Saigon beer. The pho here? It’s not just soup - it’s a slow-simmered love letter from grandma, with a broth so rich and layered it deserves its own Netflix series.
We kicked things off with chicken wings and fish sauce - a combo so sublime it should be illegal in at least three countries. Then came the seafood crystal spring rolls, light and refreshing like a polite breeze. But the real showstoppers? The bun cha (yes, real bun cha!) and BBQ pork ribs that were sticky, smoky, and so delicious they made us briefly forget our own names.
And then came the DIY pancake rolls - a ceremony of folding, stuffing, and rolling that felt like a family reunion in edible form. It’s interactive, it’s messy, and it’s pure joy. Just like Ha Noi Xua, which is family-owned and run, with service that’s warm, attentive, and full of pride.

Everything was absolutely delicious — especially the Pho Bo! The broth was the best I’ve had anywhere in Europe. The non-vegan spring rolls with meat were amazing, and the ribs were just perfect — so tasty! You can really feel that the food here is made with love and passion. The owners clearly care about their place, and it shows. Highly recommend visiting — this spot deserves it!

I had a wonderful experience at Ha Noi Xua. The atmosphere was cozy and welcoming, with friendly staff who made me feel at home. The food was absolutely delicious — especially the pho with its rich broth, the fresh spring rolls, and the flavorful bun cha. Prices are reasonable for the quality, and everything was beautifully prepared. Definitely a place I’d recommend to anyone who loves authentic Vietnamese cuisine!

One of our favourite regular places! We lived in South East Asia for 7 years and find that in Lisbon, food from this part of the world is either really disappointing or really overpriced. Ha Noi Xua is the best we have found - good price to quality / portion ratio, and true Vietnamese food with a huge menu that is not modified to European taste, unlike most of the other Viet places in the city that focus on a handful of "western-friendly" dishes. It is especially impressive considering that many important herbs and greens are not available locally. Also impressed with their range of vegetarian options (not so traditional - but appreciated!). Absolutely perfect! Both the service and the food were outstanding. The flavors are just like in Vietnam. Super authentic, fresh, and full of depth. I’ve never come across a Vietnamese restaurant at this level in Portugal. I can’t wait to come back.

The food was very good and the service was great. I got the Cashew Chicken. I was a bit surprised that it had a light tempura coating, but it was crispy and delicious. I got the pork skewers which were great. I also got the egg coffee which was a rich and delightful sweet treat. Glad that we found Ha Noi Xua and would definitely go back to try more the next time we are in Lisbon.

Yesterday we had a very delicious lunch at Ha Noi Xua. For me , it was second time. I love shrimp Banh Xeo so much!! All food we had were extremely well prepared and taste fresh and also sophisticated. My friend were all satisfied we will return for taste other plates!! Highly recommended!! Don’t miss the Iced coffee with coconut milk& Chantilly at the end.

I visited the restaurant with a group of friends and I was impressed by the food. Delicious and authentic Vietnamese food that transport to south east asia. And service was fantastic too! Looking forward to visit again with my family.

Wonderful Vietnamese food in Lisbon! Ordered the butter chicken wings which was TO DIE FOR, so crispy and buttery and tender - definitely order it!!!
Also got one each of the classic Hanoi bun cha and whilst it’s not as smoky as the ones in Hanoi, it was easier on the palette and delicious! Great portions with lots of pork and vermicelli, leaving us very satisfied. The coconut coffee was also outstanding with the creamy froth, the only complaint is that the cup was only 2/3 full so definitely not enough!

Very nice restaurant, the food was tasty and fresh. The service was very good. My huby had the best bún bò Huế in Portugal and we had enjoyed the Sài Gòn beer. We will definitly come back soon.

Beautiful decoration with lotus-crafted tableware brings a sense of Viet Nam. The restaurant is clean, and the service is friendly. The owner helped us choose the menu. We had Bun Bo Hue, Pho Ga, and Bun Cha ca Ha Noi. They were all delicious. The Bun Bo Hue is better than many Vietnamese restaurants in Viet town in Little Sai Gon, California. I highly recommend it.
